El sábado 18 de Mayo di mi charla en la PyCon US. Tenía el provocador nombre de “Evitemos más muertes por PowerPoint: Python y Data Storytelling to the rescue”. La sala de la charla estaba repleta, y la recepción increíblemente positiva que ha tenido me ha dejado sin palabras. Muchas personas se acercaron después de la charla durante el evento para discutir las ideas y decir que se habían sentidos inspirados a aprender alguna de las librerías que mencioné. Muchísima gente me ha agregado en linkedin, y me siento muy contento de que este tema que me apasiona mucho comience a ganar más terreno.

On Saturday, May 18th, I gave my talk at PyCon US. It had the provocative title “Let’s Avoid More Deaths by PowerPoint: Python and Data Storytelling to the Rescue.” The room for the talk was packed, and the incredibly positive reception left me speechless. Many people approached me after the talk during the event to discuss the ideas and said they felt inspired to learn some of the libraries I mentioned. A lot of people have added me on LinkedIn, and I am very happy that this topic I am passionate about is starting to gain more traction.
